Week 5

Hi Everyone, Gathering Time Challenge Just a reminder of our gathering time challenge that started today. Each morning there will be a task of two for you and your child to undertake during gathering time. Have a read of the small whiteboard as you walk in the door to see what it is each day. These challenges give you and your child a chance to look around the room and really take notice of what we have on display. Well done to Finn H and his Grandad for being the challenge champs today by being the first to notice the challenge!!! Keeping Safe - Child Safe Curriculum This week the PP children will be beginning the Keeping Safe lessons focusing on privacy and the body. The lessons will discuss: 1. Body awareness, 2. Parts of the body 3. Our whole body is private 4. Touching that is OK. We will be reading a story called 'Everyone's got a bottom' and emphasising the fact that all parts of their body are private. I understand that the children may laugh and giggl

Week 4

Good Morning, Welcome to week 4!! A few reminders first... Mission Market on Thursday for OLC Feast Day celebrations The PP classes are holding the cake stall. Please remember to bring in individual portions of cakes, cup cakes, slices, biscuits etc on Thursday morning. We will need some parents to help us set up and sell on the day so if you are available from about 11.30 - 12.45 please let me know. Your child will need to bring about $5 in small change to use on the day as well as a cloth bag to carry all of their purchases. If they have a small purse or zip lock bag to keep their money in it will be easier for them to handle. Year 2 are looking for pre-loved toys, books, games etc to sell at their stall so if you have anything suitable please take it to the Year 2 classrooms or leave it with us and we can pass it on. Home Readers Thank you for being so efficient at bringing in the home reader folders. Due to popular demand we will be sending the folders home on a Friday s
