  Hi Parents, Welcome to another week of wonderful learning in PPL. Thankyou for taking the time to read the parent information powerpoint last week. Remember to send me an email if you have any questions. This week our News roster begins. Each child had a roster placed in the top pocket of their bag at the end of last week. If you haven't already, have a look so you and your child know when to get prepared for their news. Literacy Last week we looked at words that rhyme eg: sat - cat. Words rhyme because they end with the same sound. Today we revisited words that rhyme again. You may like to play the 'Thumbs up, thumbs down' game with your child to practise identifying words that rhyme. (Adult says 2 words that either rhyme or don't rhyme. Child puts thumbs up if they do rhyme and down if they don't). Also say a word to your child and ask them to think of one that rhymes. This week we will also look at syllables within words. Hi Parents, Here we are enjoying another week of school. Our kids handled their first week of PP very well but there were a few tired faces toward the end. The first term is a difficult one for these kids coming to school five days a week. It is a big transition for them. Lots of early nights needed!!!
