Dear Parents, Here we are...in week 8! It was a long hot week last week and the flies did not make it any better!! Here's to a fantastic last couple of weeks. Working Hard   - Other than our Christmas concert preparations,  we are still in the midst of our teaching and learning program...we are trying to slow down a bit and give the students a bit of rest time as everyone is very tired. However, we are still learning lots of things. Grading for student reports is still underway and reports will be made available via SEQTA in Week 9. Class Lists 2024  - In the newsletter last week, you would have seen that Mrs Sheree Knezevic and Mrs Tarma Neal will be working with these students next year. Julie and I are working very carefully on drafting class lists for 2024...our goal is group the students and place them in a learning environment that best accommodates their learning needs.  This is an incredibly complex task and our goal is to ensure that your child is best placed for their lea

Dear Parents,  Preparation for Year 1 In order to prepare the children for Year 1 we would like parents to allow your child to become more independent in their school day. We ask that you begin these things this week until the end of term: allow your child to place their own water bottle and reading folders in the correct places allow them to find and complete their own Tricky Word find booklet allow them to carry their own bag to and from the classroom kiss and drop at the door (this will also decrease the noise level in the mornings and allow your child to complete the tricky words independently) A reminder of the Dance concert this Friday:  Junior Primary Dance Concert Details: ​​​​When: Friday, 17th November (Week 6) Time: 2.00pm start (roughly a 45-minute show) Where: Hall The theme for the show is Animals!
