Week 2 Term 2

 Hi Parents, Thank you so much for your amazing help to transition the PP's to our new learning space. The kids have adapted really well to the changes and seem to be enjoying sharing with PPB. One outcome of the joint space is that it is very noisy during gathering time so we are asking if parents could please try to kiss and drop in the mornings from now on. The teachers will assist any students that may need help writing their names etc. Term 2 News Roster New will begin this week - tomorrow!! PPL Assembly The PPL class assembly will be held on Friday 12th May. It would be great if everyone could come along, especially our mother's!! Literacy Currently during literacy we are learning about the letters 'f' and 'r'. We will learn what the letter looks like, what it sounds like and how to correctly write it. We are also beginning to blend 3 sounds together to make a word and segment 3 letter words into sounds. So far we have learnt about the letters 'p',

Welcome back to Term 2

  Dear Parents,   Welcome back to Term Two of Preprimary .  We hope that you have had a very relaxing holiday break filled with lots of family fun!   The staff have been busy over the holidays and have successfully relocated our classrooms to the library where the Year Threes were last year.     The teachers and EAs are excited about the teaching opportunities that will arise from our team planning and management.    Both classes will have their own home corner where they will have their special teacher and class group interactions.    By combining the classes for some instruction sessions, we will maximize our ability to differentiate the curriculum and meet the needs of individuals. The teachers will take turns delivering explicit instruction and both work with small groups. Teachers and EAs will plan as a team and share their observations and notes daily .     We have created a lovely indoor play area with plenty to do for all the children .      An important consideration for
