I was so nice to see how proud they all are of their little grandies. I took some beautiful photos of them together and will share during the week.   English During our Initialit lessons we are focusing on reading CCVC and CVCC words. For example: CCVC: club, blot, grub   and   CVCC: sunk, tent, hand. We will practise reading these types of words as well a writing them. We are also practising to write sentences that include all of the important aspects to a sentence such as: using a capital letter to start, a full stop to end, spaces between each word, including tricky works spelt correctly and making sure our writing makes sense. We are also cleverly trying to use adjectives (describing words) to make our sentences more interesting. Maths During our maths les

Week 2 Term 4

Dear Parents/Guardian,   Learning Intentions   English. This week we will review the digraphs  wh, th, oo, ay.   It is wonderful to see children using these digraphs in their writing.  We have begun souping up our sentences with the introduction of  WOW words  or   adjectives.   We are encouraging the children to use adjectives to make their sentences more interesting.   Mathematics.  We will be using think boards to represent the numbers 11 - 20 in as many different ways as possible and continuing on with learning to read and write addition number sentences.  We hope to have some fun 'hefting' to compare and order objects according to their mass.  Science In science we will be identify and discussing different types of weather. Parent Interviews/Catch up I would really like to see each family before the end of term for a catch up regarding where your child at in Term 4. Please click on the following link to choose a date and time to meet with me. Each time slot is for 15 mins.
