English Our current tricky words to learn are - I my the a is and we are about to learn was you and to. Although we have a lot of fun with these words at school, it would be beneficial to your child to practise these at home. The children will need to be able to both read and write these words. Have fun with this! Write them in the sandpit, on the steamy shower screen, on the bath with bath crayons, on the pavement with water on a paint brush, with chalk on a board or textas on a whiteboard. My son disliked practsing his tricky words so I wrote them on paper plates, stuck them to his bedroom roof, turned off the lights and lay on the bed with him 'spotting' the words with a torch. Lots of fun! Crafty kids may like to glue and collage their words or paint them. If you love cookin
